Own Boat Tuition
Session Information
If you have just purchased a new or previously owned boat and you want to gain confidence in a safe environment this could be the option for you.
With our wide experience within the marine industry we are used to teaching on all sorts of boats from RIBs of all sizes to 60ft motorboats.
Through our extensive knowledge and experience we can tailor a bespoke course to suit you and your needs. Alternatively, one of our instructors can run a RYA course on your own boat.
You will need the required safety equipment for this but we can help and advise on this prior to the training.
RYA Powerboat Level 2:

No pre-course experience required, may be preceded by RYA Powerboat Level 1

No assumed knowledge

The course covers all you need to know for self-sufficient powerboating at a basic level. Including launching, mooring, anchoring and recovery plus all the boat driving skills required for basic competence in a powerboat covers.

The minimum age is 12 - the issued certificate is restricted for those under 16 years old.
